Powered by The Jackson Laboratory's cutting-edge Envision software, this state-of-the-art Discovery system delivers unparalleled insights into animal behavior and cage environments directly from the home cage.
AI/ML is at the core of Envision, powering identification and tracking of individual mice along with classification of their unique behaviors. Models are trained and validated across multiple strains, bedding, and nesting materials to provide robust performance in any experimental condition. These sophisticated algorithms not only record detail for each mouse in exquisite detail but also streamline husbandry activities by tracking and reporting food and water levels.
Envision is delivered as a web-based app accessible from anywhere. Users can monitor behaviors down to the individual animal and annotate studies as needed, all while avoiding the need to enter the vivarium space. Additional guests can be added to share data in real-time and address husbandry issues. All data is securely stored in the cloud, enabling analysis anytime during or after the study.
Users have the option to access the Development Environment where additional capabilities can be built on top of the Envision app. This enables development of custom digital measures and capabilities that rest on the extensive AI/ML framework and allow Envision to be used in completely unique and customized ways.
