Jennifer specializes in gene replacement therapy, antisense oligonucleotides, and gene editing for neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, and epilepsy disorders. With more than 15 years of research experience, she leads programs from novel model development and characterization through IND-enabling therapeutic studies. Jennifer is deeply motivated by the opportunity to accelerate therapies for patients and families facing rare genetic disorders.
Jennifer received her B.A. in biology from Colby College in Maine. She then served as a Research Technician at Boston Children’s Hospital before earning her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After completing postdoctoral work at JAX, Jennifer advanced from Technology and Resource Development Scientist to Study Director, and is now Senior Study Director at the Rare Disease Translational Center.
